Happy New Year!!
December seems to have gone by in such a flash.
It was a month of networking, researching and also thinking about refining my list of services/offerings to include workshops.
IT Skills and more…
Based on my background and skills in IT and creativity I’m now looking to go down a completely new route. So along with my web design packages I’m also going to be setting up some workshops that will help both the community and local start-up businesses. I’m looking forward to finalising the content for these and getting things moving in the very near future.
In the meantime if you would like to be kept updated on the types of workshops and when they’re available you can sign up to my mailing list here:- https://www.delacolcreative.co.uk/contact/
Through perseverance, my following on social media has increased somewhat in the last month. People are interacting more and I’m finding it easier to create posts. All of this is great for me and has boosted my confidence in using these platforms and their ability to reach far and wide.
There’s still a lot more to learn and take in, which I’m looking forward to.
The Month Ahead…
I have a few networking events coming up in the next few weeks, these are events I find myself enjoying more each time I attend one. I have made some great contacts over the last two months events and I look forward to some collaborative working with the people I have met.
My next focus is going to be on LinkedIn and getting this to work for me, I have some training lined up on this. I’ve also been reaching out to past colleagues to understand more about my strengths and weaknesses from their perspective to help with a more in depth SWOT analysis.
I also plan on writing a few more posts on things like trends going forwards and I’m also looking into writing a small article for the local paper… watch this space.
On a personal note, I’ve had a busy month socially, enjoying the festivities with family and friends and I have plenty more social events lined up for January. I highly recommend escape rooms if you fancy something different for either a team away day or just as a fun event with friends, I’ve managed to escape each one I’ve done…So far.
I’m now looking forward to a successful and challenging year ahead.
