We’re currently working on a short term contract to ensure data quality is consistent in preparation for the migration of adult & children’s social care systems. This has been an interesting piece of work and has kept us very occupied for the last month.
This is just one of the ways we can help businesses with our virtual assistant services.

We also had a lengthy discussion with a new business start-up on how we can help setting up a filing process along with completing purchase orders and invoices for them, this is another way we can help other businesses too – we can do ad-hoc, weekly or monthly hours, perfect for those who aren’t sure what they actually need timewise yet.

Networking

Due to our activity on the migration we’ve not attended any networking events in the last month. We have however been making new contacts in the local council and look forward to seeing we can be mutually beneficial to each other going forwards.

We’ve also got our quarterly women’s networking meeting coming up this month and we’re looking forward to seeing our contacts we’ve not seen in a while.

Events

The Doncaster Business Showcase takes place again this month. We attended this last year and had a great time. There were lots of contacts to be made and also lots of information to take in. This event is well worth a visit if you get chance to go.

We recently created a group on Facebook called ‘Delacol Creative group’. We plan to use this as a way of informal networking by posting fun events such as meals out and bowling. The idea is to get to know our networking contacts better on a more social front, therefore building better relationships and trust.
By all means if you’re in the Doncaster area and would like to join, feel free to.

And finally…

This last month has been more about getting back on track with exercise and healthy eating after all the festivities. It was brought to our attention about the free NHS health check you get if you’re aged 40-74 so we made sure this was on the agenda for January.
We’ve also been creating more videos which will soon be posted on the website and social media. We’re also looking to focus on marketing and how we can reach the kinds of businesses that would benefit from our help.

It looks like we might be brought on board to work collaboratively with another local company where our services complement each other. This is something we actively pursue and look forward to making positive connections with other businesses we can work alongside with as well.
If you know any business that would be keen to chat further on this, please get them to contact us
